Glance Plus

Glance Plus is an app based on a very simple idea: people often take out their phones to check the time or to see if they have any notifications. This habit eats up battery because of the unnecessary screen brightness. How can this app help? Well, every time the proximity sensor detects that you have removed the device from your pocket, it will show a very dark screen with the time and your notifications. This way, you don't have to press the button to turn on the screen or press it again to turn it off.

In the settings, you can choose exactly what you see on the Glance Plus screen. You can choose the size of the font, whether you see the weather forecast or your notifications, and even the brightness of the screen (maximum 20%).

Glance Plus is an interesting app that can help you save time and battery. At first it might seem strange, but once you get used to the way it works, it will feel natural to not press the power button in order to see the time.
